Important: This Venue Agreement supplements our Terms of Service and outlines the specific terms, responsibilities, and obligations for venues, event organizers, bars, fraternities, sororities, and other establishments using PlugVerse to book artists. By registering as a Venue, you agree to these terms.

PlugVerse uses Stripe to process payments between venues and artists. By using our payment features, you agree to maintain valid payment methods and honor all financial commitments made through the platform.
Venues are charged a service fee on completed gig payments processed through PlugVerse. The fee varies by subscription tier: 2.5% (Starter tier), 1% (Pro tier), and 0.25% (Business tier). This fee covers platform operations, payment processing, and customer support. Additional Stripe payment processor fees may apply. See the Pricing page for current rates.
Payments to artists are processed after you mark a gig as complete. You must confirm gig completion within 24 hours of the performance ending. Failure to confirm gig completion within 48 hours of the scheduled performance end time will result in automatic gig completion and payment release.
Venues may subscribe to premium plans for additional features. Subscription terms:
Payment disputes should first be addressed directly with the artist. If unresolved, contact PlugVerse support. Chargebacks or payment reversals without valid cause may result in account suspension.
Canceling confirmed bookings can harm artists who have blocked their schedules. If you must cancel:
If an artist cancels, we will assist you in finding a replacement. You may leave an honest review reflecting the cancellation. Repeated artist cancellations affect their platform standing.
Neither party is liable for cancellations due to events beyond reasonable control (weather emergencies, government orders, natural disasters). Both parties should work together to reschedule when possible.

Venues should maintain appropriate insurance coverage including:
PlugVerse is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses occurring at your venue. You are responsible for all incidents occurring on your premises. PlugVerse does not provide insurance coverage for venues.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PlugVerse, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from: (a) events at your venue, including personal injury, property damage, noise complaints, and code violations; (b) your breach of any contract with an artist or organizer; (c) disputes with artists, organizers, or other users regarding payment, performance, or contract terms.
PlugVerse is not a party to any contract between you and an artist or organizer. All disputes regarding performance, payment terms, or contract obligations are between you and the other contracting party. PlugVerse assumes no liability for the performance or breach of any contract between users.
If you intend to record, broadcast, or photograph performances, you must:

You may terminate your venue account at any time. You must fulfill all confirmed bookings and outstanding payments before closing your account.
Your venue may receive booking requests from Organizers (including fraternity and sorority social chairs and other event planners) in addition to traditional venue operators. All terms in this Agreement apply equally to bookings made by Organizers. You are responsible for ensuring your venue complies with all applicable laws for such events, including those governing alcohol service and event capacity.
Disputes between venues and artists should first be addressed directly between the parties. If unresolved, either party may request PlugVerse mediation. PlugVerse's involvement in any mediation is non-binding and advisory only. Either party retains the right to pursue binding arbitration under the Terms of Service.

Binding Arbitration: All disputes between you and PlugVerse (not disputes with other users) are subject to the binding arbitration provision in our Terms of Service, including the class action waiver and jury trial waiver. You have 30 days from the date you accept this Agreement to opt out of arbitration by emailing cooper@plugverse.app.
