About Billing: These Billing Terms govern subscription plans, billing cycles, proration, refunds, and auto-renewal for PlugVerse. They apply to all paid subscriptions and should be read alongside our Terms of Service.
PlugVerse offers three subscription tiers. All prices are in USD and billed on a monthly basis unless otherwise specified.
| Plan | Price | Platform Fee (Venue/Org) | Key Features |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $0 / month | 2.5% per booking | Core booking tools, standard listings, basic analytics |
| Pro | $29 / month | 1% per booking | Priority listings, advanced analytics, reduced platform fee |
| Business | $79 / month | 0.25% per booking | Top-tier listings, dedicated support, lowest platform fee, all Pro features |
Platform fees apply to the total booking value and are deducted at the time of payment processing. Artists are charged a transaction fee based on their tier:1% (Free), 0.5% (Pro), or 0.25% (Elite).
PlugVerse reserves the right to adjust subscription pricing with 30 days' written notice. Price changes will not apply to the current active billing period.
Subscriptions are billed monthly on the anniversary of the date you first subscribed (your billing date). For example, if you subscribe on March 15, your next billing date is April 15, and so on.
All subscription charges are processed through Stripe. You will receive a receipt via email after each successful charge. PlugVerse does not store your raw card details — all payment information is tokenized and managed by Stripe.
Subscriptions renew automatically. Your Pro or Elite subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current subscription price, unless you cancel before your billing date. You authorize PlugVerse to charge your payment method on file for each renewal.
PlugVerse will send a reminder email at least 7 days before your renewal date. To disable auto-renewal, cancel your subscription from your account settings before the next billing date.
When you upgrade your subscription (e.g., from Free to Pro, or Pro to Elite), the new plan takes effect immediately. You will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period at the higher tier rate. On your next billing date, you will be charged the full price of the new plan.
When you downgrade your subscription (e.g., from Elite to Pro, or Pro to Free), the downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to your current plan's features until that date. No partial refund is issued for the unused portion of a downgraded plan.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings dashboard. Cancellation stops future charges. Your subscription remains active through the end of the current paid billing period, after which it reverts to the Free tier.
If you subscribe to a paid plan for the first time and cancel within 14 days of your initial charge, you may request a full refund of that first payment. This refund window applies only to your first subscription to a given plan and does not apply to renewals, plan upgrades, or subsequent subscriptions.
To request a refund under this policy, contact cooper@plugverse.app within 14 days of your charge with the subject line "Subscription Refund Request." Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days and returned to your original payment method.
Except as required by applicable law or as described in Section 5.2, subscription renewal charges are non-refundable. If you forget to cancel before a renewal date, PlugVerse may, at its sole discretion, offer a one-time courtesy cancellation and refund — but is not obligated to do so.
If a subscription payment fails (e.g., expired card, insufficient funds), PlugVerse will retry the charge according to Stripe's standard retry schedule (typically 3 attempts over 7 days). You will receive email notifications for each failed attempt.
If payment cannot be collected after retries, your subscription will be downgraded to the Free tier until a valid payment method is provided. You will retain access to your booking history and account data during this time.
To update your payment method, go to Account Settings → Billing in your PlugVerse dashboard.
PlugVerse charges two distinct types of fees:
Subscription fees are not refundable if you have zero booking activity during a billing period. Booking fees are deducted automatically at the time of payment processing and are separate from the artist's performance fee.
Subscription fees and platform fees may be subject to applicable sales tax or VAT depending on your jurisdiction. PlugVerse uses Stripe Tax to automatically calculate and collect applicable taxes. Any tax amounts will be itemized on your receipt. You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your use of PlugVerse that are not collected by us.
